Abstract: “What do you want to improve most in your teaching?” and “How might your colleagues assist in that process?” These are the questions that underpin the self-study of teaching and professional practice. This keynote introduces participants to the cutting-edge and innovative self-study research methodology to improve their professional practice and impact student learning and program development. Participants will gain an overview of The Self-Study School of thought and action. They will be introduced to the self-study action research method including “Seven Key Design Principles” (Samaras, 2011).
